This is a beautiful, nicely-coloured, well-made rug, lap warmer on a cold journey, picnic rug, but it is not by any definition a 'blanket', and far too light for that. It was also smaller than I expected because the tassels were included in the measurement. Hence my disappointment. Probably my fault.
