I was pleasantly surprised by this blanket. The colour is a very beautiful mix but gives an even tone dark brown with a slight red tinge. The colour is very warm as is the blanket. The diagonal is in the weave, so is not really visible. I am really pleased with mine. It looks good over a chair covering old upholstery and is snuggly and warm when used as a blanket.

This is loads better than I expected a bit itchy but that is what you can expect from wool but the warmth of it completely outweighs that, so I would highly recommend it especially as it's on sale and 50% of it is recycled and the other 50% is new wool it's a ring wind situation 4.5 or higher. :-)

This is my second purchase from woolblanketonline. It's pretty much as seen on the website. I really like the blanket, it is lofty, light, and a rougher texture than the Bronte Herringbone one I bought first, because its made from different wools. It is also thicker than the Bronte one. It's called "diagonal stripe pattern" and I was wary about that, but I cant see any diagonals in it, so I'm happy. Colour wise I'd say its overall a coolish mid brown with flecks: I can see tiny dots of red, orange, natural and yellow but they don't dominate as much as you would see in a Donegal tweed. Lovely blanket from a lovely company.
